IELTS Requirements: 6.5 IELTS with no band below 6.0.
English for Academic Purposes program is for students who apply to a Bachelor’s degree program with an IELTS score below The college requirement :
1. A student with a 6.0 overall score with no band below 5.5 will be required to complete 1 semester of EAP. Students will receive acceptance into EAP with conditional acceptance into their bachelor degree program upon successful completion of EAP
2. Below 6.0 with no band below 4.5 will require 2 semesters of EAP. Students receive acceptance into EAP with conditional acceptance into their bachelor degree program upon successful completion of EAP.
Important Remarks:
• Academic requirement and English Requirements of the programs English 6.5 IELTS with no band below 6.0, otherwise student will be admitted into EAP.
• If a student has completed 2 years of high school where English was the language of instruction then an English proficiency test is not required. We would need a statement from the school if this were the case.
Admission Requirement:
For Central Board student:
· Student from CBSE required min. 45% overall and not less than 40 marks in any subject.
· The student with 55% in grade 12 is eligible for Scholarship in StFX.
For State Board Student:
· Student from State board required min. 45% overall and not less than 40 marks in any subject.
· The student with 65% in grade 12 is eligible for Scholarship in StFX.
