IELTS Requirements:
For Diploma Programs
- IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5, with test results within the last two years.
- TOEFL 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) with test results with in the past 24 months.
- Pearson Test of English (Academic), 60 or higher.
For Graduate Or Degree Programs
- IELTS score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5.
- TOEFL 88-89 for the Internet-based Test (iBT)
- Pearson Test of English (Academic), 60 or higher.

Distance from big City: 6 hrs drive from Toronto

Important Remarks:
Fresher with good academics (Close to 60 % and above) will have good chance to get admit + Visa
• Gap in studies cannot be more than 1 year for UG and not more than 4 years for Graduates.
• Backlogs in core subjects and number of backlogs in same subject are being viewed with attention. Maximum number of 9 backlogs will be accepted. (For 12 + 4 years Bachelor's Degree 9 backlogs & for 12 + 3 years Bachelor's Degree 4 backlogs accepted)
• Minimum 55 % and above (higher second class) is must.
• Core subject grads should be minimum 55 % and above including Math & English.
For Medical students, marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry should be close to 55 % or above.
• For Non-Medical students, marks in Math, Physics and Chemistry should be close to 55 % or above.
• For Commerce students, marks in Accounting, Statistics,Business and Economics should be close to 55 % or above.
As per new SDS rule applicant has to pay 1st year tuition fees as mentioned in the College offer letter if the student has each 6.0 bands in IELTS.

Special Requirement:

Backlog certificate is required from college if the student has backlogs. Qualifying students in the programs can complete their two years Diploma at Sault College and move on to Algoma University to complete their Degree in just two more years.
