The best way to crack IELTS is nothing but to clear your basics first. You should have precise knowledge of all the skills that IELTS demand so that it would be easier for you to get a higher score in the exam. It will also assist you in how to utilise these skills in your performance. This gives you a concise idea from where and how to start without getting perplexed.
Although there are 4 modules that are considered skills in IELTS yet grammar is an indispensable part of it. So you should take this skill as a module because, without it, one can't crack IELTS.

IMPORTANCE OF ALL THE SKILLS

 1) Grammar

Grammar to English is what skeleton to the body is. Each concept of grammar plays a distinct role in learning English. The most common mistake the learner commits is that he starts IELTS without getting adequate knowledge of grammar, thereby does not achieve the desirable band score.

2) Reading

Readers are the leaders, thereby the first and foremost habit you should develop in yourself is that of reading. The more you read, the more you improve because you get the explicit knowledge of everything. Moreover, it improves the sentence structure as well as basic knowledge. Apart from it, by reading, you can enhance your vocabulary.

3) Listening

To be a good speaker, you must be a good listener first. It will improve your accent as well as pronunciation. By listening attentively, you will be able to speak fluently. Listening is a skill that allows the learner to understand what another person is saying and thus can respond in a better way.

4) Writing

This is the fourth step towards improving your performance in IELTS. After getting adequate knowledge about language, you should jot down your ideas in writing form. You should move from simple to complex sentences to get a higher score. Moreover, writing helps in giving a proper shape to your ideas thus make it better to understand.

5) Speaking

After learning all the aforementioned skills, the pupil will be able to speak fluently and express his idea in a better way. He will be more efficient and confident as well. Without getting knowledge of grammar, reading, listening, and writing, a student can't speak fluently.
